今年最後の１９日の「ての市」は、晴天に恵まれるとまではいきませんでしたが、
お昼頃は日差しも少しあり、風もなくまあまあといったところでした。
久しぶりの出展、なじみの人たちも何人かいて、新しい作家さんとも作品を通した
おしゃべりができました。
物作りはものを介して話が出来るという良さがあり、そこには必ず新しい発見
があります。
「くるま」の評判もまずまずで、アイキャッチャーとしての役目を確認できました。
現在増築中の施主夫妻もクリスマスプレゼントを携えてきてくれました。
ノリの良い奥さんですね、さっそく試乗してポーズを決めてくれました。
庭で作り、ばらし、家の中を通って表まで運び、再度組み立て、友達の大工さん
のトラックに積み込むまでが前日の作業。
いつも搬入には苦労しますが、今回は強力な助っ人の協力を得ることが出来
ました。
自宅での制作には、作業スペースに限りがあって、作るものもこのくらいまで
が単品としての制作範囲です。
ばらして、組むのは思ったほど時間がかかりませんでした。
重さもこのくらいまでですね、男二人で何とか持てるのは。
現地での作業はタイヤのセットのみ、出来上がる前からなじみの女の子達が
おもちゃがわりによくはしゃいでくれました。
制作中も、通りがかりの女の人達が「くるま」によく反応してくれました。
老いも若きもレスポンスが良いのは女性ですね、それを今回実感しました。
知り合いも何人も来てくれ楽しい一日でした。
リフォームへの問い合わせも幾つかあり、本来の目的も少し果たせました。
私の出展は情報発信と、偶然の出会いが主目的、デザインや木のはなしなど
雑雑としたおしゃべりをしたいというのが主旨です。
情報発信のツールとしての「くるま」ですが、何か作りたいといろいろ模索して
木のクルマに行き着いたという面もあり、まあ作りたかったのですね。
この後どうするのですかという質問が結構ありました、いくらかアイデアがある
のですがもうちょっと働かせて行き先を決めます。
ワークショップ用大道具として、作ろうというはなしが知り合いの陶芸家との間で
でました。
体育館などの広いところで子供達の意識を集中させるのは至難の技のようで、
それに一役買ってくれると直感したらしいのです。
